Your journey at a glance

This excellent eight night Safari will take you into the heart of the great migration calving season. Ndutu is where the wildebeest usually give birth in the millions. During the off season (dubbed "predator season") traffic is much reduced and you will almost have the intimate sightings during the game drives.

This is the reason why people return year after year to Ndutu in the green season.

We will spend 4 nights at Ndutu/Serengeti triangle, then back to Ngorongoro Crater, with our last night at Rhotia Hills Cottages.

Night 1: Golden Tulip – Arusha

Your safari begins with a soft landing in Arusha at first-class comfort in a city central location, aligning with the quality of the international Golden Tulip brand.

Nights 2 & 3: Lake Buruge Baobab Tented Camp – Tarangire

Enjoy spacious en-suite tents above the game-rich plains, luxury permanent tents with stunning views over the Lake Burunge and Tarangire National Park.

Nights 4–7: Kati kati (Migration) Camp – Ndutu or Simirar

A seasonal mobile tented camp that lies in the southern heart of the Serengeti. Strategically located to cover the vast Serengeti Plains, it's open from December to March to provide optimum views of big game.

Night 8: Rhotia Hills Cottages – Karatu

Your journey closes with the warm hospitality of Rhotia Hills, the atmosphere is intimate and homely, offering a perfect place to reflect on the week's safari before heading home.
