The Machame Route, also known as the 'Whiskey Route', is one of the most popular routes to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers stunning scenery, excellent acclimatization, and a high success rate.

This 8-day trek takes you through diverse climate zones from rainforest to arctic summit. The route follows a 'climb high, sleep low' profile which aids acclimatization.

You'll experience the spectacular Barranco Wall climb and approach the summit from the south via Barafu Camp.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred for overnight accommodation at The Maridadi hotel B&B. Your head guide will meet you for your briefing, gear check and arrange for you to hire any equipment you may need.
