MARANGU ROUTE
7 Days
Moderate
80%
72 km (45 mi)
The 6-day Marangu Route offers better acclimatization than the 5-day option. An extra day at Horombo Hut allows your body to adjust to the altitude.
Known as the 'Coca-Cola Route', this is the only route with hut accommodation, making it the most comfortable option for sleeping.
The gradual ascent profile and established trail make this route popular with first-time trekkers.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred for overnight accommodation at The Maridadi hotel B&B. Your head guide will meet you for your briefing, gear check and arrange for you to hire any equipment you may need.
Why Choose This Route?
Most comfortable sleeping with hut accommodation.
